Built for Oman

Not a translated version of someone else’s product.

Every workflow, approval, and report is calibrated for how Omani service businesses actually operate. Labour law, the Personal Data Protection Law, OMR, Arabic, onsite support and local hosting are built into the product. From a new hire to the last exit task, Amaal keeps the Oman employee journey in one place.

Local by design

Six local product decisions your team should not have to invent.

Arabic-first, English-ready

A true right-to-left and left-to-right interface. Arabic is part of the product, not a translation added at the end.

VAT and Fawtara path

Invoices conform to Oman VAT requirements today. The Fawtara-ready Finance product release milestone is 1 January 2027.

The Oman employee lifecycle

One employee record carries contracts, Omanisation, permits, renewals, sponsor transfers, payroll and the final exit.

Data never leaves Oman

Your database and files stay inside Oman, so employee, client and financial records do not cross a border.

Onsite support in Muscat

Real people, in-market, who sit with your team through onboarding, migration, and the first months live.

Made with Omani SMEs

More than 50 service businesses across Muscat, Salalah and Sohar already run on Amaal. Their everyday problems shaped the product.

What local really means

A real Oman HR system should carry the messy parts.

Payroll is only one moment. Founders also deal with permits, renewals, sponsor transfers and exits. These pages show how Amaal handles the work, where the claim comes from and what is still being finished.

Arabic-first Amaal interface

Arabic and English, both first-class

Your team works in the language they think in.

Amaal was designed right-to-left and left-to-right from the start, so screens, forms, reports, and documents read naturally in Arabic or English. Switching languages is not a compromise. It is the same product, done properly for both.

Local product, verifiable claims

What Amaal carries, and what every buyer should ask to see.

  • Walk SPF by worker category and effective date
  • Walk one sponsor transfer end to end
  • Show what happens after the final payslip
  • Name the hosting and support location

Questions founders ask

What built for Oman means in practice

Is Amaal built for Oman, or localised after the fact?

Amaal started in Oman. Arabic, OMR, local hosting, onsite support and the way Omani businesses hire, pay and manage people have shaped the product from the beginning.

Does Amaal fully support Arabic?

Yes. Amaal has a genuine right-to-left Arabic interface alongside left-to-right English. Your team gets the same product in both languages.

Does Amaal handle OMR and VAT for Oman?

Yes. Amaal invoices in Omani Rials and conforms to Oman's VAT invoicing requirements. Its Fawtara-ready Finance product release milestone is 1 January 2027. That is Amaal's product date, not an OTA deadline or accreditation.

Does Amaal cover Omani labour law and Omanisation?

It covers most of the employee journey, including Omanisation, contracts, permits, renewals, sponsor transfers, performance cases and exits. The foundations for WPS and SPF are also built, but the SPF wage settings, bank-ready WPS file and automatic leave and working-time checks still need finishing before live payroll.

Does my data ever leave Oman?

No. Amaal keeps your database and files in cloud infrastructure located inside Oman and is built for the Personal Data Protection Law, so your data never leaves the country and stays under your control.
